Kyle took some "snowboarding" pics of the boys in our front yard (while Mommy was thankfully taking a nap! I do that a lot during the first trimester!) You can tell that Skyler is our daring one!

Walking with Dinosaurs

For a Christmas present, the boy's granny bought them and all of us tickets to go see Walking with Dinosaurs! Granny and Aunt Kaitlin came up to go with us which was awesome. The boys ofcourse loved it! We kept telling Skyler that they were real dinosaurs, because he thought it was cooler that way. And we kept reassuring Ethan that they weren't real, because he was scared! The highlight ofcourse was the T-Rex! The pics of the dinos didn't turn out fantastic, but the video is good!

And here are some pics of a few other things that we did while Granny and Kait were visiting! I had to get a pic of this because Ethan managed to get all of this done while the rest of us were all standing in the kitchen getting dinner ready. 4 adults in the room and not one of us noticed until he had done that much damage! He was proud of himself!

We also went to the Solomon center where we played games with the kids and Skyler drove the bumper cars! He is such a lightwieght that every time he got bumped by someone he looked like he was getting whiplash!

Official Due Date

At my Dr's appointment the other day he told me my official due date, Sept. 11th. Hmmm...there was a silent pause after hearing that one, then the Dr. broke the silence by saying, "Yeah, we'll deliver you early!" I was relieved and said "thank you!"

The Baby Hole!

Ok, so Kyle and I had a hilarious experience last night talking with Skyler about how babies come out of tummies! (At least he was asking how they come out, not how they get in!) Skyler was perfectly satisfied with the explanation that Ethan had to be cut out of Mommy's belly, however, I then mistakenly pointed out that that isn't the way he came out (bad idea!) His curiosity flared and he had to know! So, my smarty pants husband Kyle proceeded to tell him about the "baby hole"! I escaped the room by this time, to cover my laughter! Skyler then asked "is that a hole in the ground with hundreds of babies in it?" Kyle said "No, it's a hole in Mommy that the baby comes out of." Skyler then asked, "Where is the hole?" Then he pointed to his chest and said, "Is it here?" Kyle decided to explain that the baby hole is near Mommy's bum...which had Skyler giggling instantly! He said "That's funny, the baby comes out of a bum!" Then this morning one of the first things he said to me was, "Mom, I know that babies come out of the baby hole which is by your bum! That's so funny, huh?"
Anyways! I just had to share but I am hoping Skyler doesn't share his new found knowledge with anyone else!

Woohoo! So I am so excited to finally be able to post that I am PREGNANT! I just found out yesterday! All I have to say is "Thank Heavens!" I was getting so frustrated since it has been over a year since my last miscarriage! Ofcourse, I am due at the end of August, which will make for a HOT summer, but I don't care, I am too excited! Most people have asked whether I want a boy or girl. Well, I would love a girl but I really am happy either way! I love my boys and would love another one. Kyle says that his biggest question isn't whether it is a boy or girl, but how many! (He just says that because I had to use fertility meds again and he likes to tease me. Little does he know that if I did have multiples, our guestroom would become the permanent residence of my mom for at least the first 6 months)! So, Yipee for me!
