Fun with Granny and Grandpa Chuck

The boys had fun playing games with their Granny and Grandpa. And Skyler went through his tokens in record time!

Granny and Grandpa brought up a karaoke machine and some music! The boys had tons of fun with a microphone! Here are some clips of Skyler singing. I think he has a very good voice!
Here is "I'm a little teapot"! Can you tell?

Twin-ers

This was actually Kyle's doing, not mine! The boys thought it was cool that they were twin-ers with Daddy! Someday I will get my girl so I can be a twin-er too!

The gift that keeps on giving...and giving...and giving!

So, I had to take a momententary break from my house cleaning to share exactly what has had me cleaning for the past while! Here's the story!
We arrived home yesterday to see a very large package on our doorstep. It was addressed to Skyler and Ethan. When we opened it up we saw that it was an amazing train set from the boys' wonderful great-granny and grandpa O'Rourke! The boys were beyond excited and were incredibly bothered by having to wait to set it up until after dinner (but Mommy and Daddy were hungry!)

The boys took all of their animals for a ride! The boys had tons of fun until bedtime and were up the next morning playing some more!

Later, I caught the boys lounging comfortably in the box that the train set came in. It was full of those pink styrofoam peanuts. They looked so cute that I had to snap a picture.

Then I went and got on the computer to take care of several things. After a few minutes Ethan came running in saying "We had a party!" followed by Skyler walking in the room with a guilty look on his face. This is what I walked out to find...

Yup, it was a party! We couldn't sing the "clean up" song enough times for how long it is taking to clean up this mess! The boys managed to scatter them into every room on the main floor! Tinkerbell was covered in them, and helped with spreading them all over the house. Anyways, I have now swept my carpets, vacuumed, and am going to have to vacuum at least a few more times! I think I will be finding pink peanuts for the next year! Oh well, gotta laugh! Those boys are just too cute for my good!
