Granny, Grandpa Chuck and Aunt Kaitlin (NeeNee) came to visit us a few days before Christmas. It was so much fun to have them up! The boys were ofcourse, ridiculously spoiled by all the presents that they got(which included gifts from Grandpa Gillett and Nana Sherri, too!) They had more to open that morning than they did on Christmas! Here is Skyler with his prized present "Spike"!

Pics of our new house!
Here are a few pics of our new house.
The Kitchen
The Family Room
The Front Room
The Entry
And the biggest draw for this house was the backyard! Here is the swingset and firepit.

Here is a closeup of perhaps my favorite feature...the drinking fountain.

This is our sledding hill. We haven't been able to use it yet, but I am sure the opportunity is coming, and the boys will love it!

And this is our covered deck that is right off of the kitchen! It was a shame that we waited until fall to move in! I want to use our backyard for barbecues!

Sneaky!
Last night we captured on film what sometimes happens after we put the boys to bed! About 30 minutes after the boys were supposed to be down for the night, Kyle and I were sitting watching a movie and we heard little noises coming from the kitchen. And this was the sight that we got to see. A little Ethan head appearing around the corner. He would slowly peek and then hide again. He did this for several minutes before he got the courage to come down to us. We probably should have put him straight to bed, but he was so stinkin' cute that he got his way and stayed up 'til 11pm playing. I know, we are pushovers! But who can resist those cheeks?!

Giving Thanks for Thanksgiving!
I think that I had the most wonderful thanksgiving I have ever had this year! There wasn't anything really all that different from years past, but I have never been more excited to have my family come up then I was this year. And I needed them to come up, since the last few months have presented us with a lot of change, stress and hardship, it was wonderful to just be able to relax and enjoy, and feel like things are normal in my life. So...it was wonderful and I was beyond sad when they left. My Mom and Dad, my sister Jill and her two kids and my brother Jeff and his wife Sara and their family all came up and stayed with us for pretty much the whole week. My mom and Jill and I did some shopping, which was tons of fun for us, probably not so much fun for Skyler, Ethan and Dylan! We played lots of games together and we also went to the Hill Aerospace Museum! It was really cool to see planes from back in the WWII era! Being there helped me remember to give thanks for all of the men and women that have served our country and protected our freedom!
Skyler wanted to take a pic of me, so here it is!

And then there was the adventure with Jill's hair. She decided that she wanted to color her hair (none of us understand why since she had beautiful blonde hair to begin with). So, she was coloring it a slightly different shade of blonde. Well, if you can't tell from the pic, it went orange! And yes I mean really orange! So, right after she washed out that hair color, we ran to walmart and got another hair color, this time a platinum blonde to get rid of the orange! We also had fun making sugar cookies with the kids!
We went through lots of sprinkles that night!
Skyler was very proud of his cookies!
Ethan just wanted to eat them!
This is my dad and Ethan.
I am a Daddy's girl!
Kyle loves to play with the kids on the swing set.
This is the result after that hair color! Much better! Moral of the story, don't mess with the good things God gave you!And here is my mom during a game of cards. This is the game that Kyle and Mom killed Jill and I at.
