My brother, Jeff and I took a rather last minute trip down to Phoenix last week. My Grandma Goodsell has been in and out of the hospital for the last several months and recently gave us quite the scare. We wanted to make sure we got to see her just in case! She is doing a lot better than I imagined! First of all, at 85 years old she is quite the fighter. It is going to take a lot to get her to the other side! She is up and walking some again and is her spunky self!
My grandma is an amazing woman and has lived an inspiring life. She married my Grandpa just before he went to war. My grandpa died of a heart attack when my dad was only 11 years old. My dad is the oldest son, so it quickly fell on him to help provide for the family. At the age of 13, my Dad and Grandma were introduced to the missionaries. I guess that they had visited and learned about lots of different churchs up to that point, but my Grandma didn't feel that any of the others were right. My dad told me that at first he refused to get baptized until my Grandma asked him to pray about it because she knew that if he wouldn't get baptized, then none of the other kids would either. So my Dad took it very seriously and he prayed. He said that he has never doubted after that. Anyways, my Grandma raised 5 kids on her own and has been very faithful in her beliefs in God.
It was awesome to get to see her and we took some cute pics!
Here is my Dad, Skyler and My Grandma

Me and Grandma- I hope my skin looks that good at 85!

Ethan is saying "cheese"!

Thumbs Up! We stopped at a little pizza place along the drive down!

The rest of the trip was fun. We got to hang out with my sister and her new baby, Kaiden. He is six weeks old. And my brother Jeremy's new baby was less than 2 weeks old! Her name is Sariah.
Jeremy and Jeff, being their silly selves, holding Sariah.

Here are the kids outside of our favorite AZ restaurant, Arriba's. It is the best Mexican food ever! We ate mostly mexican food while we were down there, because nothing up here compares to the real thing! Yum!
Lilly is 7 1/2 and the lone girl in this bunch, her brother Drake is standing next to her in the blue. He is actually one day older than Skyler is, but look at the size difference! Dylan is in the front in the gray. He is 2. Talon is looking the wrong way! He is a cutie and belongs to Jeff! Then there are my two cuties!
Skyler spent part of a day out with his Granny and Aunt Kaitlin and this is how they brought him back! Maybe I shouldn't send him with them again! Just kidding. Granny bought him these very interesting "snake" glasses! He hasn't lost them yet, but I am hoping!

Skyler wanted to feed baby Kaiden!
Here is Jeff as we played a game together. That is the favorite past time at the Goodsell house. We get together and play game after game.

And here is Jill, my baby sister!
