My Littlest Man's Birthday

Ethan turned the big 2 today! Goodness, I hate that my baby is growing up! But we had lots of fun. We had a "train" themed birthday which included ofcourse a train cake! I had way too much fun making it, though it did take quite a while. But Ethan was excited about the "choo-choo" that he could eat!

Ofcourse, we couldn't even get to the cake and presents part of the party without first doing rides on the go-kart! It is Ethan's favorite and he had tons of fun until it was someone else's turn and he watched the go-kart drive away!

We had some pizza for dinner, but had a hard time breaking Ethan away from his "nummy izza" to get him to open presents! And you wonder why he is so chubby!!!

Then we opened presents and some of the other kids were even more animated and excited than Ethan was! But he was quick to put them in their place by saying "no, mine."

Once again, the cake was adorable. Ethan didn't quite have the blowing power needed to blow out the candles, so he got some help from his surrounding friends! That was when the Velociraptor children came to life all screaming which piece of cake they wanted!

Kyle hadn't gotten the train table put together before the party, so he stayed up late that night finishing it. Then the next morning we got to show it to Ethan. He's in love and it might be awhile before we see him without a train attached to him!

You did a fabulous job on the cake. It is so cute. He is so stinking cute. It looks like a fun day. We got to wave to all the go kart riders as they went by. It looked fun.

Hey, good job on the cake!! We have a little train man, too! I love it. It's sad and exciting when they cross that line from being a baby to really being a little boy. Looks like you guys had fun! I'm so happy for you!
